The 75kW gasoline engine electric dynamometer test bench system mainly consists of the following components:

• Electric dynamometer: Responsible for engine loading and dragging, consisting of an AC motor, a torque flange (German HBM T40B series, used for torque measurement) and a mounting bracket.
• ABB ACS880 variable frequency inverter system: Controls the electric dynamometer, can load the engine in the forward direction and drag the engine in the reverse direction.
• XLE-1000 measurement and control system and software: Carries out overall control of the test bench, communicates with the frequency conversion system via the bus to set/control operating conditions.
• Data acquisition system: Equipped with suitable temperature/pressure sensors and acquisition modules.
• Throttle actuator: Adjusts various throttle openings, has large torque, fast response, and good dynamic performance.
• Transient fuel consumption meter and fuel boost and pressure regulating device: The fuel consumption meter accurately measures the fuel consumption of diesel/gasoline engines.
• Coolant temperature control device: Controls the engine coolant temperature with high precision and fast response.

• Accurate dynamometer torque measurement: Equipped with a high-precision torque sensor (e.g., up to 0.05% FS), it can accurately capture the torque output of the engine at different speeds and loads.
• Energy recovery and significant energy-saving effect: Through the variable frequency inverter system, the electric energy generated by the dynamometer is fed back to the power grid, reducing energy waste.
